Summary

The «Inclusive Camino de Santiago: An Accessible Journey for All» project aims to enhance the accessibility and inclusivity of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage for young people with disabilities. The project will achieve this by developing an accessible web app («Compass Web App») that provides detailed information about the routes, accommodations, and services, considering the specific needs of individuals with disabilities. Additionally, a training platform («Journey Blueprint & Chronicles») will be created to equip caregivers and youth workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to organize and facilitate inclusive pilgrimage experiences. The project will also include a Learning, Teaching, Training Activity (LTTA) in Spain, offering both theoretical and practical training, culminating in a real-life pilgrimage experience. Finally, a documentary, «The Inclusive Path: A New Camino de Santiago Story,» will be produced to raise awareness and promote the project’s outcomes.
